70% of Urus buyers new to the Lamborghini brand
"We were expecting a positive feedback from the customer, but not at the level we are receiving now. The reaction of the customer is really fantastic.”
The Chairman and CEO of Lamborghini, Stefano Domenicali, said in an interview with CNBC referring to the excellent commercial start of the super Urus SUV.
According to the manager, by the end of the year the Lamborghini global sales will increase to about 5,000 units, 1,000 of which are Urus, and then to increase to 8,000 units in 2019, over half of which will be for the SUV model.
Moreover, to date, about 70% of those who have already ordered Urus are new to the Lamborghini brand and another surprise is represented by the fact that many buyers are women.
