BMW gives voice to Monnalisa

For the presentation of the new Intelligent Personal Assistant system, fitted to its vehicles starting from the new 3 Series unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, BMW has created a spectacular installation in the heart of the French city.
On the square in front of the Center Georges-Pompidou a gigantic reproduction of the famous Gioconda by Leonardo Da Vinci, 10 meters high and 7.5 meters wide, has been realized.
But it was not a simple reproduction of the canvas. The Monnalisa, in fact, is speaking.
And using face-tracking, it is also able to move the face and hands on the 75-square-meter LED screen that depicts it, and answer the questions posed by visitors in a microphone.
The "great lady" speaks fluently French, English and German. It turned out that the Monnalisa is a car enthusiast, and looks forward to the new BMW sedan, already equipped with the Intelligent Personal Assistant.
