Chinese government delegation visited Skoda
A Chinese government delegation, led by the Minister of Industry and Technology, Miao Wei, visited the Skoda headquarter in Mlada Boleslav, hosted by the Czech carmaker's CEO Bernhard Maier.
As part of its Strategy 2025, Skoda aims to strengthen its activities in the country of the Great Wall, which is already the main single global market for the manufacturer with a total of over 300,000 units sold annually.
Skoda has a long tradition in China, resumed recently (ten years ago) with the launch of Octavia's production thanks to the joint venture between the Volkswagen Group and the local Baic. In these two shades, Skoda has already registered more than 2 million vehicles in China.
