The Chinese LinkTour to develop electric vehicles
The Chinese car maker LinkTour, backed by Great Wall Motor, has announced the launch of five electric models before 2020.
LinkTour will focus on small EVs at affordable prices, the first of which, the K-One SUV, will arrive on the Chinese market as early as November. The carmaker declares that it will reach 460 kilometers on one charge.
LinkTour has developed a solution for the rapid replacement of batteries, which is expected to become popular among customers, because China has not built an adequate charging network, especially in smaller cities, which the manufacturer sees as its main market.
Due to the small size of the cars produced, the battery packs are small, light, easy to transport and quickly replace, even on the road, thus helping to alleviate the mileage anxiety that could torment drivers.
