The Chinese Zotye is ready to enter in the US market
The plan of the Chinese manufacturer Zotye to start selling a crossover produced in China in the United States, to which the company has been working for almost two years, is slowly taking shape.
Zotye USA was created last month after HAAH Automotive Holdings of Lake Forest (California) signed a distribution agreement with the small Chinese car manufacturer Zotye Automobile International.
The company plans to launch its brand in the 80 best US markets and to have between 300 and 325 franchised dealers.
His first vehicle to debut on the market, probably the T600 crossover sold in China since 2013, is expected for the fourth quarter of 2020. But there is still a lot of work to do.
Bob Pradzinski Senior Vice President of Sales at HAAH and Zotye USA and Duke Hale, former manager of Mazda and Volvo and now CEO of HAAH Automotive Holdings and Zotye USA, are working on recruiting resellers.
The letters of intent with some franchisees have already been signed, although the company has not declared their names and the number of members of the program.
