Citroën increases its global sales and reached its best European result since 7 years
Excellent first half for Citroën. The Double Chevron brand in fact closed the January-June period with global registrations increasing by 8.7% for a total of 573 thousand units between passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
The growth was sustained by the boom in China (+ 50.5% exploiting the success of the new C5 Aircross SUV) and above all by the extraordinary result in Europe, the best of the last seven years.
In the Old Continent, the French company gained 7.4% compared to the first half of 2017 with 444 thousand units with encouraging results in the main markets of the region, from France to Spain, from Italy to UK to Germany.
Among the most popular models in Europe the C3, the new C4 Cactus and the new C3 Aircross SUV.
