Ford becomes largest car exporter in India
At the end of the first half of the fiscal year, Ford became the leading auto carmaker in the Indian export industry.
The American manufacturer has closed the April-September period by exporting 82,347 vehicles and has thus surpassed the previous leader Hyundai, that reached 70,525 cars exported. Following in the order Maruti Suzuki and Volkswagen.
During the first half of the previous fiscal year, Hyundai was the leader with 87,499 vehicles in front of Ford with 73,821 units.
