Geely confirms its 2020 target: 2 million units sold
Vice President, Lin Jie, confirmed Geely's goal to increase its sales volumes globally to 2 million units by 2020.
The Chinese Group, owner of Volvo, Lotus and Proton, is on track to meet the target given the excellent commercial performance this year.
The registrations for the first half of the year amounted to 766,600 units (+ 44%) and Geely will close 2018 to 1.58 million vehicles.
The Chinese carmaker provides a further product offensive with the launch of a new Boyue-based SUV and with the introduction of electrified variants.
