Honda hits 1.5 million cars milestone in India
Prestigious milestone of Honda in India. The Japanese company has in fact crossed the milestone of 1.5 million units registered in the Asian market twenty years after the start of activities.
To reach the last 500,000 units in India, Honda took just 34 months, while the previous milestones of 500,000 vehicles were met, respectively, in 14 years and 3 months and in 3 years and 7 months.
The constant Indian growth of Honda can be explained not only with the continuous launch of new cars, but also with an increasingly complex and widespread distribution network that has led to the creation of over 340 showrooms divided into about 230 cities in the country.
The cars that have most contributed to the local boom of the carmaker are City, Amaze and Jazz.
