Honda still leader in the automotive sector in Thailand
For the third year in a row, Honda has confirmed as a leader in the passenger car industry in Thailand.
In 2017, the Japanese carmaker in fact sold 127,768 units, equal to an increase of 19% compared to the previous financial year for a market share in the segment which rose to 32.2% of the total.
Honda Automobile Thailand was supported in particular by the launch of the restyling of City, Jazz and Mobilio and the new Civic hatchback and CR-V.
The new models also allowed the company to improve its penetration in general in the emerging market in Southeast Asia, where it is third overall, bringing it to 14.7%.
