Honda Tomo, the “fun driving” by IED will be unveiled in Geneva
The Tomo concept made by the Istituto Europeo di Design in partnership with Honda will be unveiled as a world premiére at the 89th Geneva International Motor Show in March.
Tomo is the 15th style model in 1:1 scale made by the IED as a thesis project for the two-year Master in Transportation Design. Tomo is a vehicle equipped with electric propulsion representing the convergence of a smart device and a mobility tool designed for 2025 how expression of the brief provided by the Japanese manufacturer: Honda next 2025 “fun” driving.
The result of how young designers today see driving pleasure, Tomo is able to combine the needs of leisure time outside the city with business demands of the city.
It is no coincidence that the word Tomo, which in Japanese means “friend”, conveys the image of a vehicle that is a faithful companion of its users and that adapts to their wishes and needs, accompanying them in everyday life.
