Hyundai at the IAA with Kona, i30 N and i30 Fastback
Hyundai will be at the 2017 edition of the Frankfurt Motor Show with three new releases unveiled to the public for the first time. This is the compact Kona SUV, the i30 N (the first sport model developed under the new N brand) and the elegant 5 door i30 Fastback coupe.
The IAA is the home of Hyundai Europe as the cars are designed at the Rüsselsheim Style Center to be developed at the nearby R & D center and tested at the Hyundai Motorsport headquarters in Azenau.
In particular, Kona will debut in Italy in November with the 1.0 Turbo GDI 120 hp and 1.6 T-GDI 177 hp (with full drive and with the 7DCT automatic twin-clutch transmission) engines and from mid-2018 the range will be enriched with the next generation of 115 and 136 hp diesel engines.
The i30 N is powered by a 2.0 T-GDI of 250 or 275 hp and the i30 Fastback is powered by a 1.4 T-GDI with 140 hp and a 3-cylinder 1.0 T-GDI with 120 HP. After the January debut, the i30 Fastback will also receive a 1.6 turbo diesel with 110 and 136 hp.
