Kia e-Niro ambassador to the United Nations Climate Conference
Kia has invested e-Niro of the important role of ambassador entrusting an important mission: to make a journey of 3,741 kilometers completely in electric mode, to deliver a message on the importance of the transition to more sustainable forms of transport to the delegates of the United Nations Conference on climate change just ended in Katowice, Poland.
A journey started in Lisbon on December 3rd and ended in Katowice in Poland on December 11th where the e-Niro, as Kia ambassador, brought an important message to COP24 illustrating the advantages of the zero emission guide and the numerous obstacles that still slow down the spread of electric vehicles.
During the 9 days of travel, the Kia electric crossover covered 3,741 kilometers, crossing 7 countries and stopping in 14 cities, where numerous meetings were organized to open a dialogue with politicians and institutions to illustrate how the electric can already be today a concrete choice to make an important contribution to the future challenges of mobility.
The average electricity consumption of e-Niro was 17 kW/100 km, with an average speed of 71 km/h. In 9 days, 54.5 recharge hours were needed, of which 15 were made during the day and 39.5 using night stops.
