Mazda strengthens its activities in Malaysia with the CX-5
Mazda is growing more and more in Malaysia, a key market for its expansion throughout Southeast Asia.
The top model of this growth strategy is represented by the CX-5 compact SUV, whose local production began a month ago with components coming from the Japanese factories in Ujina and Hofu.
The CX-5 made in Malaysia is already on the market in Thailand and will soon be in the other major Asean countries.
Mazda's manufacturing business in Malaysia began in January of 2011 with the assembly of the Mazda3.
