Mercedes trademarks the EQA and EQB names
Mercedes has recently trademarked the new names, or rather, abbreviations, EQA and EQB in view of the announced electrical offensive under the new EQ sub-brand.
In detail, these are the EQA branded acronyms and subdivided into the 200, 250, 260, 300, 320, 350 and 360 numbers to be used on the standard production version derived from the EQA concept unveiled as world preview at the Frankfurt Motor Show last fall.
Similar numbers for the EQB name, but in this case there are still no details on the model that will exploit them.
The EQC, the prototype of an electric SUV, is already known, and its production will start in 2019 at the Bremen factory.
