MINI to unveil in New York a classic MINI EV
MINI has chosen the New York International Auto Show to unveil an advance of what will be its first pure electric model (which will debut in 2019 just in time for the 60th anniversary of the brand), even considering the 2008 MINI E produced in only 600 units.
The British brand of the BMW Group opted for an original solution, exhibiting a zero-emission variant of the legendary classic Mini of the past.
The car combines the glorious tradition of the '60s with the advanced technology for future urban mobility.
The pure electric MINI, based on the three-door variant, will be assembled at the Oxford plant.
