Nissan: in Holland the largest shared solar roof
Nissan installs the largest shared solar roof in the Netherlands.
The European Nissan Parts Center is thus the first Dutch company to provide to the third-party its roof for large-scale sustainable energy production and the generated electricity will cover the needs of 900 families.
The first phase of the system will come into operation at the end of February 2018, while the completion of the project is scheduled for next May.
Thanks to the installation of the panels, the Japanese carmaker makes a further step towards implementing the Nissan Intelligent Mobility strategy, focusing on 100% sustainable and intelligent energy and mobility forms.
