Opel to start production of its Insignia BiTurbo diesel and of the Country Tourer
Opel starts production at its Rüsselsheim plant of the new Insignia with 2.0 BiTurbo diesel engine, 210 hp and 480 Nm torque and of the Country Tourer variant that is alongside with the Grand Sport and Sports Tourer.
The Insignia with the BiTurbo diesel, already orderable, boasts unmatched fuel consumption for excellent performances: maximum speed of 233 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.
The top-of-the-range engine is combined with the eight-speed automatic transmission and the AWD hi-tech system with torque vectoring.
The Country Tourer is aimed at all Insignia enthusiasts seeking an elegant and practical station wagon with off-road aesthetics and it will be on display at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
