Osaka tennis player new brand ambassador of Nissan
A few days after his first triumph in a Grand Slam tennis tournament (in the dramatic final match with Serena Williams in New York), Naomi Osaka was chosen by Nissan as a brand ambassador.
The announcement was made at the headquarters of the Japanese carmaker in Yokohama, the first public appearence after the success in Flushing Meadows of the 20-year-old daughter of a Haitian father and a Japanese mother.
Thus ended a dream week for the tennis player who competes for the colors of the Rising Sun country, even if she moved to the USA at a very tender age. Nissan will also supply Osaka with vehicles for its daily travels.
