Porsche Consulting opens a new office in Silicon Valley
Porsche Consulting has opened a new office in Belmont, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley.
Detlev von Platen, Member of the Porsche AG Executive Board for Sales and Marketing, emphasized the significance of the new site for the company: "We need more visionaries, more ‘out of the box’ thinking, especially if we want to drive innovations forward. And what better place to enact this necessary vision of the Silicon Valley? To have the consultants directly on-site offers the best conditions for this.”
Belmont is the ninth office that Porsche Consulting has opened since the beginning of its activity in 1994. It is located near the electronic research laboratory of Volkswagen. The contact with the colleagues of the Group will be precious to bring together the best ideas coming from a wide range of sectors. This provides customers of Porsche Consulting worldwide with direct access to the main innovation networks.
New mobility, high-performance enterprise, and business transformation are Porsche Consulting’s main areas of concentration.

The Belmont office will be led by Doug Reinart, an expert industry consultant. The total number of Porsche Consulting USA employees, currently 46, is expected to rise to around 60 by 2019.
