Skoda produced 15 million units since joining the Volkswagen Group
Skoda is celebrating the production of 15 million units since it came under the management of the Volkswagen Group (1991).
The Czech carmaker is going through the best time of its glorious history, as shown by the still-unprecedented world sales record set in 2016 with a total of 1,126,500 units.
And in the light of the budget of the first five months (480 thousand registered vehicles), Skoda is starting to further improve its primacy in late 2017.
The most successful model of the 15 million vehicles assembled since Skoda is under the umbrella of Wolfsburg is Octavia with a total of 5.6 million cars.
Next in this special ranking are Fabia with about 4 million units and the Superb with just over 1 million.
