SsangYong to develop an EV version of its Korando SUV
SsangYong unveiled as world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show the e-SIV concept that will become a mass production reality becoming a pure electric variant of the Korando SUV.
The CEO of the British division of the Korean company, Nick Laird, has just announced it to just-auto.com.
The new product with zero emissions will be marketed on international markets within a couple of years.
The UK market is the largest European market for SsangYong with a total of 4,000 units sold in 2017.
The goal is to grow to 8,000-10,000 units within three to four years.
