Tesla to unveil its new Roadster EV able to reach 400 km/h of speed
The volcanic President of Tesla, Elon Musk, continues to surprise. On the occasion of the planned introduction of the new Semi (Palo Alto's first electric truck), the second generation of the Roadster EV has been unveiled, promising to become the fastest car in the world with an amazing peak of 402 km/h acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.9 seconds.
The zero-emission car has a 200 kWh battery that will allow to reach almost 1,000 km in autonomy, combined with three electric motors (with AWD traction), the power of which has not yet been specified, capable of developing a pair snapshot of 10,000 Nm.
The new Roadster commercial launch is expected for 2020 with prices starting at about 200,000 dollars.
